2015 - LICENSE TO BREW!
This small piece of paper felt like a huge victory! Licensed to brew!
BEGINNINGS
We launched the brewery on MLK in 2015 after a year of sweat and creativity. We were so grateful to have the support and love from friends and family while we were getting things up and runnning.
START WINNING AWARDS!
Since we started brewing we have been honored to have been recognized at brewing competitions on the local, national and international levels, including winning a total of 7 awards at the prestigious GABF and World Beer Cup competitions.
PRODUCTION GROWTH
We were at brewing capacity within 6 months of opening the taproom and 7 bbl brewhouse location in downtown Chattanooga, and immediately began plans to expand. In December of 2017 we had completed construction of the 30 bbl brewhouse on Riverside Dr.
GROWING THE TEAM
In 2015 we started with just two employees, Mel and Joel, and quickly doubled our staff to include Jonathan and Priscilla. We operated all aspects of the brewery/taproom with just the four of us, from production, to sanitation, to deliveries, to sales, to working bar shifts. We then started to grow our staff as the brewery grew to include 19 valued staff members. It has been great getting the chance to work with so many friendly and talented people, and we feel lucky to have them.
FOOTPRINT
This is the First Food City in Chattanooga to carry our beer! Since 2015 we have expanded our distribution footprint to include the State of Tennessee, the State of Alabama and North Georgia including retail and chain and grocery distribution.
